try to delete the gameguard folder and then run a full check of the client. that should fix your problem | |
Had this problem earlier, here's how i got my L2 to work: 1. do a full check I had to repeat that 7 times, but it worked eventually and now i can get on normally every time | |

Hey im getting the same problem, i have just bourght the game today! i loaded it up, and that message pops up... i have tryed what you guys have said and more... i dont know what to do, i dont know how i can make lineage II onto my AVG exseptions list (i dunno how you even get on its exseption list [AVG free]) i have switched my firewall off and tryed.. nothing.... will it go with time? will iuts be sorted out? helllppp mneeee =] sorry, im new. | |

it is also usefull if you install the latest drivers for your graphic card. sometimes that solves all the problems. | |

Why are you trying to delete game guard? It is absolutely required to play the game. If you had deleted any part of it, that is why you are having the problem. When you reinstall the game, the game guard will be installed along with it, if you are using the new CDS. If you still have your old ones, then it will come with the patch. What server are you trying to connect to? | |
someone mentioned an error that might include there AVG firewall, well just a heads up, but sometimes AVG reads the exe as a trojan and removes it, it has happend to me a enough times to where i keep a back up of the exe. file. I have had many many issues with game guard on different mmo's and also L2, u can usualy google for a solution, sense basicly 100% of people playing a game with game guard eventualy have issues, so its usualy easy to find a full walk through for your exact issue. | |
AVG causes more problems than it's worth. It's had problems with L2 ever since it was released. | |

i had issues with avg when i started but ever since i updated it to avg8 i havnt had any issues at all. | |

Hello, i have the same problem with Game Guard, i've tryied to do a full check, but when i saw there is a way to launch game in /Lineage2/system/l2.exe i noticed that i dont have l2.exe file, can someone upload it somewhere and tell me the link?
