That depends on what "enough people" represents to you. Yes, AoC is still alive and going well, just don't expect WoW masses in there.
Hmmmmmmmm.. I will check this game and I have to find out if it's true...
Pretty much what ths guy said, still a few but not a lot to compete with other MMO's
Here's what I found.. Most of the WYD players transfer to this game and 30 percent of it has guild. I don't know why the players of AoC disappear little by little.. I guess it is lack of support. Before I used to play this game but now AoC became AO.. This is my game right now ^^
I think that once Rise of the Godslayer comes out, people will return. If I had to make a prediction, it would be that AoC will go F2P like DDO did. It's not a bad business plan and one that would keep people coming back over time if they can control their own spending and not be locked into a monthly subscription.
I this this is good game. It's very difficult to predict the market of any game, especially MMO's, but I wager that if AoC can keep up their improvements, then they may eventually reach 1 Mill. But this is natural if any new game arises it effects on the popularity of first one.
is it worth it to get age of conan? do enough people still play it?
