Nothing is 100% yet. FireSky still exists and owns the IP. The company is undergoing chapter 11 and there are several outcomes to that, one of which is selling the IP to another studio. We'll just have to wait and see. | |
SGW is dead. will be at least 5 years before anyone will think about buying the IP. And it doesnt help that stargates new tv show might be canned soon also. I am sad( i have been posting on the forums there for over 2 years waiting for this to go open beta( | |
THe same was said about the Star Trek Online IP after Perpetual Entertainment's blunder, yet it was picked up shortly thereafter. | |

What's your take on the bad news? Me and a couple of friends were really looking forward to it. I mean, it was obviously going to happen but having it 100% dead is still very saddening. I had pretty much given up on MMOs and this was the last one I had lined up to play.
Has the 100% closure affected you at all?
