I report badge farmers so that way they can't get their precious Matrix badges, among others. Abide by our rules, and do not spam up areas just because you think they're dead. I read dead areas frequently to report badge farming, as it's strongly frowned upon, and necroing is against the rules.

As someone who just finished Astrogeology 5 and training mining barge 5.... you do NOT want to train Doomsday 5.

EDIT: Since we all seem to not like how long it takes skills to train, let us all ask Guitar how long it took him to get into a Nyx. Then we won't have any reason to complain anymore.

For a new player I think it would take about 6 months to get into a carrier. For me, since I was already playing for more than a year before I branched off into cap ships, it took, if I recall correctly, only a few months to get the skills that I was missing.

It's not long for normal caps no.... Supercaps... year and a half minimum for a titan for instance

Yes, Titans take a long time to train. If one does not like this fact, they should not train for a Titan, or at least not complain.

Once you get decent enough skills you can pay for your game time with ISK..... you can persuade your parents to pay untilt hat happens... maybe..

By really bad stuff, you mean Yahtzee. Eve was a really good game, just most people don't like it because it involves a lot of mind useage.
If I could scrounge up the cash I would play it and LOTRO, but I chose LOTRO.

I'd have to look into it more before I came to a decision, but I think the cost alone is enough to make me think twice about it.
Though, I'm not doubting that it's worth the price of course :)

I started a trial some 10 days ago, really fun but also hard and confusing, considering paying for a subscription. I have to say my phone ringtone is: minmatar; retribution , i just love the melody
