If your current character is badly cross-trained, like if he has trained a bunch of mining skills and industry skills and different racial skills, then sure a re-roll is fine. Then again, if you're only worried that you don't have learning skills high enough, you ought to just stick with your current character. Training learning to high levels takes time, yes, but sacrificing all of the rest of your skillpoints and starting from scratch will not only make you have to train the learning skills, but also a ton of very basic fitting and such skills all over again.

I'm not going to be re-rolling; got toons I'm happy with, despite the fact that some of them need learning skills still. You know also that you can re-roll now if you want and create a toon with 800k sp (as opposed to a measly 50k) and still have that training time bonus for another 800k sp when Apocrypha arrives, right?

Do what Jaman says. Reroll now, it seems like a good idea to wait, but it isn't. If you check out the official boards people are rollin' alts like mad men.
