yea, theres probably a thread or two.....thousand about it already, but still.

when will Darkfall let people sign-up for it on their website, or atleast set up a subscription? actually, when will their FORUMS work? i would of asked them directly but evidently even their forum register button is broken since it keeps routing back to forum news. Already putting a patch in place? how about patching your website first?

for those of you already playing, good for you.

Do it because you can, and never regret it!

Forums being down is usually a sign of damage control by the company.

Don't want people telling others how crappy the service and/or game is? Keep them from having a voice and blame it on the evils of technology.

That is awesomely disappointing. I was sort of looking forward to this game. I'd really rather it didn't suck ass.

Its physically impossible. They cannot handle anymore traffic on the server(yes, singular)they have. But yet can't afford another.

Let alone the fact that they do not posess the logistical numbers needed to handle a REAL release.

Yes, I said it. The game is in open beta. "Limited release" is what a company calls a game when they want you to PAY for the open beta.

Hemi you do realise the whole comment on DF having one server holds little value right?
It's a clustered machine, i dont think DF has that many players currently, but you can rest assured they do not all reside on one machine

The current project im working for RBS has a "singular" P6 Box server too, does contain 36 actual machines though but is also referred to as single p6 server

Lol, I understand that, but for the sake of brevity I called it a "single server".

You are right, it is a cluster...and so is the server.
