Ive just returned to EQ2 , and was wondering if there are any settings in WinXP I can tweak to improve my game performance ??

When I played EQ2, back in the day, things did tend to chug especially in populated areas (either of the cities) or large open areas (Commonlands) and I could never find the right video settings to combat this. It's one of the many things that turned me off about the game.

I know the OP posted this is June and hasn't posted since, but there's a tactic for anybody that wants to know that can help speed up your MMOs.

It either works or it doesn't. WoW is used in the example and it definitley helped.

It either works or it doesn't. WoW is used in the example and it definitley helped.

I used that and it was GREAT!!!!

Yeah, I got a droog of mine to test this and he said that his latency went down, but still had almost the same amount of lag; which is what I expected.
