from what i have read on some of the german boards, the system requirements seem to be rather low. it seems that the most important part is the RAM and if you have enough of that, it should be easy to play in high details. And since many players from europe seem to have good pings playing in the chinese beta, i tend to believe them

Gameplay is great, also one of the smoothest MMO launches I've ever been a part of. The community is hit or miss, half the heehaws spend every second they're in-game spamming the Trade or LFG channels with WoW crap, hopefully that stops when the WoWtards' free month runs out. If you're looking for a replacement for WoW or don't like PvP don't waste your time and money.

All that aside I thought the open beta was probably the best I've played. Unfortunately I just don't have the time or extra money at this point to invest in playing it. And I didn't get a chance to experience the PVP either. Customization and visuals are unbelievable. And to my surprise the translations were a huge improvement over the last NCSoft MMO beta I participated in (Lineage II).

Very polished for an Open Beta.

Since WoW has gotten pretty boring recently, I may have to give Aion a try.

Good god, I'm so tired of hearing people rave about this game. Sure, it looks amazing, but since I'll have to borrow someone else's laptop to play, I hate all the hype.

nobody is makeing you read the hype, or respond in the games specific forums for that matter.

this game can run on a $300 pc btw, sell some plasma (and sperm) and upgrade mang.

getting over it is also an option.

I've picked it up for my wife and I and we are having a blast with it with it so far. The graphics (for an MMO especially) are fantastic. There are some truly incredible vistas from the top of cliffs and the cities. The characters are very well detailed with the ability to make them actually look quite realistic along with the added element of flight; it's quite refreshing from WoW honestly.

That sure is some amazing graphics for an MMO game. For those who've been volentarily stuck with WoW since its release, this must be a little glimpse of heaven (and a cry to put that gaming PC to use).
