Now if hour fees were started. do you think they would want to charge .01 cents a hour or so you think they would charge .10 or .50 a hour. which would be I don't know give how many hours some people play. lets say 4 hours a day for 30 days @ .50/hour = 60 dollars for one months of play. How is 15/month not a better deal? please let me know if I'm think about this wrong.

The only way it would work is if you had credit on your account, and you only played it every now and again, as your secondary MMO. I can't see a hardcore player only playing an hour a day... Plus 15 a month is a better deal anyway =) Early to bed, and early to rise, something something, something about pies |

Whats more to say.. the guys right you know. There is no way paying by the hour will acually be cheaper, on the other hand, it would be great if you could chose from both pay-systems incase your not a hard core gamer, then again.. i don't see my mom playing Aion :p |

My wife and I have no problem plopping down the $30 a month for us to play together and though we do go out to dinner and such occasionally, it's nice to be able to just play for a couple hours some nights instead of having to spend $100 on a night out. Fate it seems is not without a sense of irony. |

Paying in batch is a lot more efficient assuming you actually use the time you've paid for. I guess Aion's makers didn't see a pay-by-hour system as viable for those of us with enough disposable income to take the (arguably cheaper) batch options. |

It'd be an easy way to regulate the amount of time they could afford to spend on the game. Aside from that, stick to 15 bucks a month, enjoy as much of the game as you like for a flat rate, and be happy. |

So it's gonna be $15 a month to play it here in the U.S. The Koreans and Chinese have a pay by the hour system, which in my opinion is way more efficient and cost effective.
My question is, why can't we have the same system? Is there a legal reason or are we just getting screwed by American corporation crap?
