This always and will be a concern of mine until they change this the following is an e-mail i have sent to ncsoft;

Dear NcSoft

I am having a rather hard time believing that NcSoft is allowing little box's that make it much harder to click with my mouse in PVP. I want to be able to touch everyone's box the same.

My mother and I played together during open beta and I chose to make a small member and she chose to make a big member. While playing with eachother I noticed my Mom's box was huge. In fact when we grouped together I could not heal other members of the party because I could not stop touching her box by accident.

This surprised me because in pvp everyone will be touching my moms box because it is so easy and its not fair that its so hard to touch small characters boxes.

I asked everyone in the town to come and see my Mom's big box and she let everyone touch it and even they were surprised. They say things like "if people like big members why do their boxes have to be so big? I don't like little members they don't feel the same when we play with them." I told them not to worry that I would contact NcSoft about my Mom's big box.

Now I have played pvp in L2 and I have touched Dark Elf Box, Light elf box, Orc box and EVEN DWARF BOX.

Ayase can you explain to me why my Mom's box is so big? I called the support line as open beta is over and didn't feel I received the support I should have gotten and have paraphrased my conversation below;

NcSoft Support: GoodAfternoon NcSoft support my name is Attaboo how can I help you?
Me:Yes I feel its very disappointing that people who like big characters has to have a big box and I think this should change.
NcSoft Support: Pardon me sir?
Me: In game my Mom has a very big box because she likes to have the big members and everyone agree's thats it's not right.
NcSoft Support: Sir this is the billing department we really don't deal with in-game suggestions.
Me: Well can you not help me? Touch my Mom's box and then try to touch a smaller members box and tell me how thats fair in pvp?
NcSoft Support: Sir...I'm not gonna touch your moms box.
Me: BUT ATTABOO I pay you to, i want customer service and I don't feel i'm getting it!
NcSoft Support: Sir this isn't an appropriate discussion. I'm only in the billing department.
Me: THan you tell me which department can touch my mom's box?
Ncsoft Support: Sir I'm ending this conversation.

So you see NcSoft support was not even helpful at all and I don't really have that this will ever be fixed. My mom will forever have a big box.

I implore you AYASE to just touch my Mom's big box and tell me how this is fair? Do not ignore the big box situation. It will swallow you if you ignore for to long.

Just use the function keys (F1-etc...) to target people for healing/buffs/ect...

And aside from your somewhat valid point, you wasted a lot of time on a stupid joke. Though I'm sure tweens all across the virtual worlds of NC Soft MMO's are thoroughly amused.

I played open beta and have decided to not purchase Aion when it goes live. Though, I think it is really cool to be able to make an uber tiny character and reap the benefits when in PVP with a "point and clicker". It will be interesting to see how many people complain about the difficulty in targeting small players.

This felt like some of the jokes in Family Guy (which I do enjoy for the most part) in that it was funny at first, but then went on for waaaaaaaaay too long. (Peter hurting his knee comes to mind)

Oh the hypocrisy.

when talking to customer support, try A, not to be a dick, and B dont say box like a dipshit, say hitbox or something like that. "box" doesnt mean anything to anyone you havent explained it to. it could be a cardboard box in your room for all they know. HITBOX means the character's physical space in the game world. and assuming that PVP is going to be alot about three dimensional movement, people stacking up doesnt seem like that bad of a problem
