I was just wondering what your feelings are on this matter.
I'm psyched myself, but I'm also pretty sure it's not going to feel like Diablo. It's going to look a little gritty and coffee-filtery-ish, but I'm still hooked.

Yeeeeeees my boys.

I bet it will feel more like WoW 1 1/2 and less like D3

It seems to me that modern arguing is more about focusing on your strong points and the weak points of your opponents rather than a quest for knowledge and wisdom.

The environments remind me more of a slightly darker Prince of Persia, and the new character classes (Except for the Barbarian) will have some people pissing and moaning, but I thoroughly believe that Diablo III will be so amazing that 5,321 people's heads will explode come launch.

It reminds me more of Gauntlet than anything else.

DM: From the deepest crypts crawls the undead thread, it's death rattle shakes you to your core. What foul necromantic forces brought forth this foul beast.
Cleric: I attempt to turn undead.
DM: You can't this is a WoW forum D&D magic does not work here.
Cleric: Well guys we are @#$%*%!
Wizard: Agreed, I believe this Necrothread was created by a dread ForumLych, impossible to stop, without a sense of humor.
Fighter: Very well I throw a badge or some other posting reward down at the necrothread and prepare a tactical retreat.
DM: The necrothread pauses at your offer, snaps up the reward and slinks off deeper into the internet.
Rogue: Phwew! That was close... I wonder if there are even more ancient Necrothreads ahead of us?
Fighter: We will only know when we continue on our journey through the crypts of Warcry.

I think it will be a great game it just won't be diablo. The fact that we destroyed his soul stone in D2 shows that really.

I think it is going to be great. From gameplay videos looks like its trying to keep close as much as possible to D2 with some new features.

I dont really care what people say about what the game looks like. Even if everything would be pink and Barbie would be the main character I would still play it... if the gameplay is good it means that it's a good game.

I am very, very keen.

Not a very big fan of WoW, but I really hope Blizzard keeps delivering with this series. I still play the old games from time to time.

This looks like it's going to be sweet. For all the people bitching about it being WoW 1.5, there are things that WoW took from Diablo. The skill trees with multiple points, for instance. This did not in the least diminish either game, as far as I'm concerned. Granted, I haven't played much WoW, but enough to get the gist.

I would like to see the inventory remain similar to D2, since I don't like the "everything fits in a slot" mentality. But if I'm complaining about that, well, not bad, right?

Suffice to say, my expectations are up there, but I think I won't be disappointed. And if I am, well, that'll suck, but in the end, it's only a bit of money, right?

"Ultimately, the choice before the American people is the choice between two visions: on the one hand, the policies of limited government, economic growth, a strong defense, and a firm foreign policy; and on the other hand, policies of tax and spend, economic stagnation, international weakness and accommodation, and always, always, from them, 'Blame America first.' It's the choice between the policies of liberalism or the policies of America's political mainstream." -Ronald Reagan

I never got around to playing Diablo II, and the graphics are a bit too dated for my eyes to adjust. I hope that with III I can have a nice introduction in the series though.

Diablo III will be sweet.

It will also be the first Diablo I'll play.

I admit that I haven't played any Diablo games, but I've seen them in action. Being a bit of a Blizzard fanboy, I don't think there will be any flaws with Diablo 3 aside from the unfamiliarity associated with those who've played the previous two games.

None of the options really grab me. Being the pessimist that I am I'd say don't judge a book by its cover. It still looks good and I will buy the game anyway just because its Diablo.

I am optimistic for how it will work and how it will look, but I am holding no bets that it will feel like D2.

I never played any of the original Diablo games and to be honest I'm really looking forward to this game. I do believe there will be WoW influences but to be honest I think that's going to be a good thing in the sense that the developers know what people like, what makes a game attractive and addictive.
