EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - Oct. 23, 2008 - NDOORS Interactive is confident you will like their game. They are so confident they are offering a satisfaction guarantee for Atlantica Online. Players who have a level 50 character can trade their character in for $20 if they don't want to keep playing.

Players must have started their account after Oct. 11, be level 50 and have a PayPal account to be eligible. A player's login ID will be void once they receive the refund. The offer ends Nov. 30, 2008.

NDOORS Interactive is also currently running a promotion that gives players multiple chances to win thousands in cash and prizes through participation in the game's PvP area called the Free Leagues. Players now have until Nov. 30 to win any of the bonuses.

Atlantica Online is set on Earth, in a parallel reality that takes players through an arduous journey to unravel the hidden secrets of Atlantis. With its heavy emphasis on strategy, Atlantica was designed to stand out amongst the 'cookie-cutter' MMOs. The strategic gameplay incorporated into the turn-based combat, mercenary and country management systems will appeal to strategy and RPG players.

More information about the title and the satisfaction guarantee can be found at www.playatlantica.com.

Nice way to start, if you dont like it, then at least its been a cheap game

because i take it you still do have to pay for purchase?

Atlantica is free-to-play with microtransactions. Theoretically at least, you could score 20 bucks for nothing but your time. :)

Yeah but getting to level 50 takes too long. You would have to like the game to get that far and when you eventually you get to level 50 you might not want to give it up.

Reaching lvl 50 could be free of costs then ?

If you have to pay for more content after lvl 10 it might be hard ;)

Basically this is NDoors marketing strategy to encourage gamers to try the game. And it is a well-thought strategy, since when you will reach level 50, you'll either be enjoying too much it actually give it up or you'll be reluctant to sell it after you've accomplish so many.

Is it really possible to actually play the game without spending money on it? I mean all the microtransaction games I have tried are pretty ridiculously difficult to play unless you cough up the cash.

Hi "bloodyleach", atlantica online is Free to play MMORPG so you dont need to worry about monthly fees or anything like that. I am currently playing atlantica, my level is 27 and I am loving the game already. You should guys try it, and in the case that you dont like it then ask nDoors for the $20. I play at argos, my name character's name is EMmariano. I am also a newbie but I see what I can do to help.

If you don't like it, to get your money back you'll have to level up to 50, and by then you'll have put so much work into your account that you won't want the refund :(

Hehe I haven't tried this game but now it looks like 20 bucks in pocket considering that i don't enjoy mmorpg's very much. I play as a bit of a spare time hobby (not to say that they are not awesome at times).

Edit: sorry I missed the level 50 thing. That just put me off playing the game because now i know that the creators are shameless con artists who rival Microsoft in their weedlery.

just checking if i can post again, i was temporarily banned for quite some while. and just want to say the game is free so it wont cost much if you find the game not for you.
