PROBATION Posts: 12 Joined: 3 Nov 2008 | Have you guys tried treasure hunting in the game? I had obtained two treasure maps and was excited to finally venture out on my own treasure hunting. I opened my map, studied the coordinates and was off. The place where the treasure was located was a long way from my current position I have to move fast. Unfortunately, I'm still having trouble with my controls and kept adjusting the camera angle and there were times when I accidentaly clicked on a monsters, thus entering a fight. Three fights later, the game alerted me that the treasure was already gone. That made me really sad. But, I thought to myself, I still have one remaining map. So, I opened my last map and tried my luck again, this time being careful not to fight with any more monsters. But, after some time has passed, the game alerted me that the treasure was found by somebody else! Maybe I wasn't meant for treasure hunting... Anyway, how's your treasure hunting experience? User was put on probation for this post. |

Or at least higher people with better writing skills to at least make it convincing. DM: From the deepest crypts crawls the undead thread, it's death rattle shakes you to your core. What foul necromantic forces brought forth this foul beast. Cleric: I attempt to turn undead. DM: You can't this is a WoW forum D&D magic does not work here. Cleric: Well guys we are @#$%*%! Wizard: Agreed, I believe this Necrothread was created by a dread ForumLych, impossible to stop, without a sense of humor. Fighter: Very well I throw a badge or some other posting reward down at the necrothread and prepare a tactical retreat. DM: The necrothread pauses at your offer, snaps up the reward and slinks off deeper into the internet. Rogue: Phwew! That was close... I wonder if there are even more ancient Necrothreads ahead of us? Fighter: We will only know when we continue on our journey through the crypts of Warcry. |
