Upon prompting about a novel for non-gamers who would still like to enjoy the story behind Bioware's new MMO, The Old Republic, Sue Rostoni said on Starwars.com's message boards that, "A novel will come out sometime around the game release time and that's all that's been determined so far."

Not a huge Star Wars film fan, but I liked KOTOR so this might be worth a look.

I have never really liked Star Wars games that much but I prefer books to video games so this may be good.

I've read the Old Republic comics and I didn't like them as much as I like the Tales of the Jedi series.
