Start playing wow again? I haven't played it since October and I was just wondering about the pro's and cons of me jumping back aboard the WoW train.

If you haven't played any WOTLK then yes you should if you really want to if your really done done then no. Why start it up if you have no interest in the game anymore. But if you serious about coming back pick up WOLTK and have fun with the rest of us. It has changed quite a bit and there is alot of new stuff. Like riding dragons to kill bosses driving tanks and motorcycles for PVP and other awesome things the new zone is great.

Wotlk is pretty fun the first time you see the quests and bosses. After the first time through it really becomes less interesting (although still a little fun). The end game raids are cool to see at least once.

No, give up and WoW and do something that is usefull.

Like battlefield.

WotLK is the best version of WoW. It's not even close :)

Pro: It's just like it's always been and there are a variety of new gimicky things that are fun to look at.

Con: The variety of new gimicky things that are fun to look at can't hide the fact that it's just like it's always been.

I picked it up about two months ago and I have really been enjoying it, I play it very casually now and the fact that I can get decent gear with running heroics or being able to pug raids just makes me enjoy it more. I know I will never have the best gear but I am fine with that.

I've tried to get into other MMORPGs. FFXI was the worst MMO I've played thus far.
LOTR Online trial found it to be extremely dull, with classes that didn't interest me.
Age of Conan trial found it less dull that LOTRO but still very mediocre.

I will probably come back to WoW, every other MMORPG I've occasionally tried was either mediocre or just plain terrible.

(I sometimes need to take breaks from MMO's, otherwise the grind starts to get to me.)

I have tried the Warhammer Online trial since making that comment and I would recommend either going back to WoW
or trying the 10-day trial for Warhammer Online first and then decide.

If you liked playing it then yes, go back to it. If you quit because it began to get boring, don't.

Is WOTLK worth getting? I used to play WoW a few years back but I stopped when I realised I cared far more about collecting Torn Bear Pelts then sleeping.

Should you get into WoW? I think it's a personal decision. I've played little of it and haven't gotten into it so I can't tell you if it's good. Besides, if something thinks something is amazing how should it effect how you enjoy it?
