I know! I love that, I go geocaching a lot and visit a lot of hiking spots in New Hampshire and other parts of the east coast, and in fact have recently considered hiking the Appalachian trail (since I have no job at the moment and no immediate prospects). Marking the lay of the land is kind of what makes it fun for me in WoW. Never presume. ;) |

Some of the ones I have been to are - - The dancing troll village which can be seen when flying to Auberdine. That'll be something that I'll miss when Cataclysm goes live. When you can fly, it pretty much removes all exploration value for me. |

I've only done easy things, like top of Ironforge (before Epic Mounts were easily available -_-) and pre-BC stuff in Tanaris desert. If some of you remember a certain group called Noggerfogger addicts or something like that existing back in the vanilla, they did a lot of fun things. Although a lot of them had a lot to do with bugs, like going to places you really weren't meant to be, trying to find a way to the Emerald Dream in game, getting into Caverns of Time pre-BC (okay, I'm guilty of that too) and so on. It was rly nerve breakign but i saw from the wyvern there is something on top of it. Well no NPC or mobs . . . iguess Cataclysm will put something up there but the climb was really hard. I dont even remember how i got there but i Do remember i made couple of circles of the place before finally finding the place. I remember when i was leveling up in the barrens how i climbed the mountain on top of WC and found that NPC which gives you a Q to deliver in Ratchet. That was pretty cool. |

I've been on top of IF, on top of and under Stormwind (best place EVAAARR - bugged out for life), on top of Goldshire's Inn, top of WC etc. I got teased a lot for always exploring, and I don't regret it. I got the Explorer title before all my friends because of this ^.^ |

I do! I'm not talking about bugs and such, but rather about finding ways to get to areas that seem unreachable. Places like the pillar by the stairs in Krasus's Landing, the tops of the tents by the bridges in Thunder Bluff, or the top of the clock tower in Brill (the easiest one by far). Anyone else have any interesting places they like to go that seem otherwise out of reach or even just share my hobby? More to the point, does anyone else find this interesting? I don't see many people do it, that's why I was curious. As has been said before, some of the fun in WoW comes from making your own games and challenges, and this amuses me if I'm not in the mood for other stuff.
