You know the phrase, "Not the sharpest knife in the drawer?" Yeah, it's kind of a big box of butter knives. But I like my guildmembers. EDIT: I should say, because it sounds like I'm trashing the realm, that as a newbie to the game I have found people on the server to be very helpful, surprisingly so. On the Horde side, that is. I'm on Darkspear US. Not a bad server at all, the trade chat is sometimes pretty bad, but it gets that way on every server. And lightninghoof is my secondary Alliance server. As in, my main is Horde and my secondary server, Ligtninghoof, is home to my alliance chars. Say hai to Ziberious. |

I have a couple other characters scattered around (most notable on Burning Blade where a friend of mine plays, which is an awful server in my opinion) but I'm bringing the best ones over to ER. I have both Horde and Alliance there, but I grew up as it were on the Horde side, and so have no Alliance characters at 80. I try to role-play occasionally, but as has been stated, there aren't tons of people who do so it can be tough sometimes. As for AIE, I kind of dislike the guild. Not for any personal reason or insult, but I find it near impossible to tell if someone in the guild will be any good or not. I've seen people who were great raiders, were friendly and knowledgeable, and I've seen others who could barely make the effort to turn off their caps and spell a word with more than five letters. Whenever I run with their members I have no way to judge the outcome, and so I tend to avoid them just for sanity's sake. |
