Can't stand fighting rogues. They get to sneak, hide, stealth, break rooting spells, and stun you for such a long period of time that you can't cast and win.
Only thing I hate more than rogues are DK's.... just cause they are pointless.

I am incredibly frustrated with my rogue actually, he was my first 70 and I pretty much soloed him up but now it is simply painful to play him in Northrend.

I don't see many rogues any more, which is odd since I remember there used to be a ton around at lvl 70. It's a shame because as a BM hunter I tend to chew through them quite easily :)

and as a disc priest i'm the one type of healer they have huge problems with. They don't like it when you survive a full stunlock and then fear them into your friends.

Rogues are kind of like the white man. Once they had all the power, able to slap everyone down. Now, it has been realized just how strong they were and now they have had their knees ripped out from underneath them.

PS:
Hunters = Super Easy Mode. Like playing 2 player Madden with the second controller unplugged.
DK's = Regular Easy Mode. Like playing 2 player Madden against a 5 year old girl.
Paladins = Easy Mode. Like playing Madden against a 12 year old Amish boy.

As much as i wanted this thread to die before it was created...created horribly mind you, I feel i should mention that currently, a raid geared combat rogue can dismantle just about anyone but a dk...or equaly skilled/geared combat rogue. I have a ret pally epic'd out, encounterd a combat rogue, got the jump on him, it vanished and cc'd me, naturaly, so i broke the stun only to be 3 shot before i could even think of bubbling(cheating), talking 18k hp gone in a matter of 2-3 seconds. This isent the only example, just my most rescent encounter. I went a few more rounds with him, all had simmilar outcome, the only people to stop him was a dk, and another combat rogue.

why all the hate on rogues? they do what they were designed to do, kill casters, but the second a DPS warrior comes around they'd better look out.

I'm surprised to say that my mage is very effective against rouges. If I see one before they stealth I run around casting Arcane exploison. When I enter combat I cast frost Nova and Then bombard him with fire spells.

I hate rogues ive talked about my hate for them since lvl 60 when a rare geared rogue would 1 shot you with ambush vanish then goto the next victim...

they have always been over powered and always will...Warriors, druids, rogues, and mages seem to be becoming a pet of the blizzard employees (death knights are rolling down hill but right now they can be listed with them)

Hmm. It's been awhile since I played, but a rogue should be able to get out of that pretty easily with Cloak of Shadows.

I had a rogue and loved it. the only thing i couldn't deal with where warriors, and it gets worse as the levels get higher.

I don't remeber that move. May have been taken out or it's in a talent tree I never used. Anyway even if they did get out of the frost nova spell then I would just use cone of cold and then spam scorch and Fire blast.

I really don't have much trouble with rogues on my paladin. Especially since I'm human, I just use their get out of any movement effect, after that i can usually heal when i get down to far, then beat him down with my stuns.

I just hate rogues because they prey on lower level folk. It's fine to say that at equal level they have weaknesses but I'd rather take a higher level axe to my face than be killed randomly.

That explains it. My Mage is only level 39. The spell is a level 66 spell.

Heh, at lvl 40ish my rogue gets raped by pallys.

That's what i've seen. Paladins, Warriors, Druids and DK's seem to make a Rogue's life a living hell.

My first character was a Rogue and he was my main up to 70. Once WOTLK came out, i went with my priest because i figured he'd see more raiding. (Though i am finally levelling my rogue up now to 80 now.)

I never see Rogues right now in any Arena or PVP, though our top DPSers in Ulduar are all rogues. Fan Of Knives is nuts.

My friend has lvl 80 rogue and he can take on anything in PvP and hold his own. The only two he hates fighting are retadins ("spinny yellow death") and resto druids because they heal and heal and just won't die. It's hard to cut down a tree with a dagger. Oh, and other rogues, he hates them too, for obvious reasons.

Problem is most have zero skill whatsoever.

My Tank pally ate so many rogues for breakfast... it was almost pathetic... they can stun me but I'm able to take all the damage... so the fights just look like : "Sapped" then "get beat on for a few seconds and watch my HP go down just a little tiny bit." then "Get out of sap, say: 'My turn now!' stun rogue, pop CDs, kill." Quite sad for them...

I was one of the top 3 pve rogues on my server, i fucking owned people. And in pvp, only a palla and warrior tank, and a feral druid could beat me, mutilate/sub spec ruled the early WotLK days. Till i gave it up for something worthwhile...
