Thanks to Everyone in the Central Wastelands...

Tonight, the wastelands of Auto Assault will face it's ultimate demise..the server doors will close at midnight and the remaining survivors will vanish forever. Here's the official farewell from AA's Team:

With Auto Assault closing down tonight, we wanted to thank all of you for creating a tremendously cool and dedicated community of Wastelanders. We just didn't want to give you guys a wild, crazy event tonight, but something else that may be just as fun. In the coming days those that are eligible will be receiving a "Parting Gift" message in your e-mail inboxes, with opportunities to take a part in some of our other products, including Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa and City of Heroes. It's our way of saying "Thank You" to the diehard Auto Assault fan base and we hope to see you in are other virtual worlds.

And NetDevil's president Scott "Scorch" Brown :

Thanks everyone who stayed through it all. Auto Assault was 4+ years of working our tails off to get this product out. It was something we all loved and I'm glad that some people could find the same joy from the game as we did. Hopefully our paths will cross again soon.

AA WarCry will be there, as always, to the last second, and we'll vault down all the memories, screenshots and videos here, waiting for the next dawn...
