F2P people will be limited in what they can do, unless they buy modules with Turbine points with real cash. Lots of details here: http://ddo.warcry.com/articles/view/editorials/6266-Inside-DDO-Eberron-Unlimited ============== |

It's also free to play, but if you want to become a hardcore DDO player, you'll find yourself way too limited and might want to become a subscriber (VIP) instead to have access to the entire game with no extra cost, but if you are more a causual player, or if you already play more than one game and want to try DDO and have an hour or 2 each week to give to it, Free to Play is perfect for you. |

i second this |

Adventurer Posts: 306 Joined: 26 Aug 2009 | Well this seems pretty cool, I never had any interest in this game but if it is going free (even with limitations) I might give it a shot. |

If you have a good deal of patience, even those goods can be gotten for free....everything in the game can be gotten for free. Heck, follow the free player strategies and you could be buying (with free store points) the best adventure packs available in a matter of hours. So you either don't really know the details on what's being offered and how to earn the rest, or you're one of those players who thinks they should give you everything right up front for free. |
