A set of plate mail would probably suggest chest, legs, and arms. The same thing would go for bracers. I guess it depends on the level of customization they want to go with for armor. Most, if not all, of the D&D CRPGs have gone this way, I think. As far as ioun stones, they're usually trinkets along the line of an amulet, sometimes with a more specific purpose. Some examples I've seen are ones that allow you to breath under water, or one that might grant an extra 7th level spell. DDO/LotRO WarCry Staff |

The Link that Gatzby posted regarding Xundau list of equipment slots raised an eyebrow for me.
(I've paste'd the list below).
Not that I disagree with it mind you.
I would have thought that there may have been a seperate legs armour slot.
A couple of posters suggested that there should be more than 1 ring per hand too.
I imagine the Wrists are just one slot despite having two wrists (for Bracers if Defense etc)!
Not sure what ioun stones are ...
The slots we currently have in game are:
- Primary weapon
- Off-hand weapon/shield (if you're not wield a two-handed weapon)
- Ammo
- Armor
- Helmet/headgear
- Hands
- Wrists
- Boots
- Belt
- Cloak
- Right-hand ring
- Left-hand ring
- Amulet/necklace
- Trinket (for ioun stones, etc.)
This is pretty close to what's available in PnP D&D,
and I don't think we'll be changing it unless we see a significant need in Beta.
