Am I really the first to respond?

I have been on the receiving end of mass griefs where the number 1 guy in the entire game will come into an area and then proceed to kill everyone for an hour before getting bored and going back to grinding.

Griefing doesn't usually get to me because I can always go play a different game for fun but I don't play any of the Pay2Play games so I don't know what I would do if I had a financial investment in a title and I got griefed.

I can't say for sure if I've ever been a griefer as I may do a mean thing every now and again but I don't stand around and rub it in that I'm the big guy and there is nothing they can do. Then again I'm not the BIG GUY, I'm just better than certain players.

I doubt I would enjoy being the number one player and being able to beat any other player and maybe even the entire system. It's just not something that interests me.

I would never grief towards other players because griefing's just plain wrong. I'd rather mind my own business and concentrate on either farming, grinding, etc., than to grief on other players.

Some players like griefing, some don't. It's why Blizzard have PVE (normal) and PVP servers. I personally hate it - and would not play WoW if all servers were PVP, which are the ones that allow griefing. I also believe griefing and ganking say a lot about the character and personality of the griefers - and its not pleasant!
