You'll notice that many MMOs are moving towards an open class system these days due to players' demands for a more free form and open customization. |
Apprentice Posts: 3 Joined: 11 Mar 2007 | I prefer playing as a wizard because casting spells from far-away distances always does the trick for when you don't want to get yourself killed fighting a tough monster with only either a staff or dagger. |

Being restricted by mana, spell choices, and typically weak in close range combat, or if taken by surprise, is just not something for me. I've always enjoyed playing a class that can freely run around the field without worry of getting shot down in a few hits. |

Killed 10 Boars Posts: 10 Joined: 16 Sep 2007 | i tend to like mage archetypes, because anyone in real life could (hopefully wont) weild a big sword/hammer or some daggers and stab people, but they cant shoot fire out of their hands! healers can be fun too. i like to have some power over the lives of my allies as well as the lives of my enemies. |
