All they need is any pokemon game and just make it online and it would sell like nintendo The internet is the only place you can find dinosaurs argueing about the futility of a war between zombies and vampires. |

I want to see gamma rays. I want to hear x-rays. I want to smell dark matter. |

My other two favourite series stargate and dbz are already becoming one so :P Pokemon would be to addictive, couldnt step away from that |

Mass effect also, with some changes and a dynamic 'world' [space], space station ownership .etc. also a really WWI MMO would be quite popular, there hasn't ever been one done [DoA was probably closest but its not very good]. |

Might not carry the RE title, but this promising MMO is probably the closest thing to ever be a zombie online: Exanimus |

Agreed. Take D&DO and flush that P.O.S. down the toilet and let a company that knows what they are doing develop a game that uses the D&D/Forgotten Realms backdrop. This is the single most unused/wasted resource out there. Never understood why this hasn't happened. The classes, spells, items, monsters, etc. are all there just waiting for a developer to transform it into the best selling MMO of all time. Maybe even go so far as to use the Baldur's Gate niche. |

Apprentice Posts: 1 Joined: 7 Sep 2008 | I know a lot of IPs that would make good MMOs: The one I want to see made the most is Dune, based on the Herbert novels. Think of it, you could have both ground and space combat, multiple planets to control. Economics and politics would drive the game as much as combat. Each Great and Minor House would have their own product line, and players/guilds would opt to ally themselves with a House. Players could also opt to join an independent organization like the Bene Geseret, Bene Tlilaxu, or the Spacing Guild. A lot of potential for originality here; I figure if a Conan game could get made, there's enough interest for something like this. The other is a little odder: Naurto, the MMO. The setting is PERFECT for a ninja/martial arts based MMO. You've got multiple villages, missions, tensions between villages, and a "Big Bad" that threatens it all. The different villages and different "families" could provide the unique character skills or specialities, with each family having a unique justu of their own. Many others come to mind, but those are my top two ideas. |

Tomorrow, Warhammer: Age of Reckoning officially launches, bringing the classic tabletop franchise to the world of MMOs at last. These days, it seems like almost every franchise has a MMO - Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Final Fantasy - but what's left? This week, we'd like to know:
