Looking For Group Posts: 137 Joined: 7 Jul 2008 | The first time I actually noticed and paid attention to weather in a game was Baldur's Gate 2. I was out in the wilderness somewhere at night and a storm started up; rain, lightning, thunder, etc. It was actually quite eerie even for a 2D game. |

WarCry Choice Posts: 2259 Joined: 5 Jan 2007 | I have to agree with BeauTurkey, Ryzom had a gorgeous changing weather and seasons system, by far was the most advanced at release and even now. Another favorite was the Biomek starter zone in the late Auto Assault, which featured a constantly raging snow blizzard and it sure felt cold in there! |

WarCry Choice Posts: 295 Joined: 18 Jan 2007 | I liked FFXI's weather system. (rain, snow, wind, heat wave) EQ's is ok, in that it provides a visual challenge by making it foggy, but those dirty druids always turn it off. |

We're well into December, and while it might not be snowing everywhere, many gamers are starting to get flurries at the lightest. Weather can also exist in MMOs, if often only as flavor. This week, we'd like to know:
