The first time I actually noticed and paid attention to weather in a game was Baldur's Gate 2. I was out in the wilderness somewhere at night and a storm started up; rain, lightning, thunder, etc. It was actually quite eerie even for a 2D game. | |

I have to agree with BeauTurkey, Ryzom had a gorgeous changing weather and seasons system, by far was the most advanced at release and even now. Another favorite was the Biomek starter zone in the late Auto Assault, which featured a constantly raging snow blizzard and it sure felt cold in there! | |
I liked it when it rained in WoW. I would turn up the weather intensity to the max whenever it did. | |
I liked FFXI's weather system. (rain, snow, wind, heat wave) EQ's is ok, in that it provides a visual challenge by making it foggy, but those dirty druids always turn it off. | |

We're well into December, and while it might not be snowing everywhere, many gamers are starting to get flurries at the lightest. Weather can also exist in MMOs, if often only as flavor. This week, we'd like to know:
