Lathander is the most blessed god of the dawn. And I, Obid Teltas, govern this temple in his name. Together, Lathander and I shall smite the evil festering in the bowels of Westgate! Then the people shall chant my name! Er, and that of Lathander.

Allakhazam.com has an interview with Thom Terrazas about the state of the game and improvements:

Allakhazam: Assuming that you are also a player, if there was one thing you could add to Vanguard - even if, as a developer, you do not see it as being feasible? And why that one thing?

Thom: This one I had to think about for a while. It seems like almost anything is possible to create inside games these days, but I think it would be very cool to put in more "side" games. It probably makes more sense to do this within your guild house or just your house that you can do with your buddies. Games like checkers, chess, cards, poker, etc... Being able to pass the time away, playing cards and drinking your favorite brew with the people you spend hours with every week sounds like a nice getaway when you're not being chased by lions, tigers and... ok, I won't say it, but you get the picture.

Event planners for this summer's Fan Faire are looking for fan ideas for panel discussions.

Since we have recently announced Fan Faire, I thought it would be a great time to ask the people planning on attending what type of panels that they would like to see. We always have the typical spells, content, and general topics that we cover but we all always open to suggestions! If you have always had an idea that you thought would work into our format please send in your comments.

I would love to see a few of the panels be more interactive. Thoughts???

Head over and give them your thoughts.

PC IGN is featuring a progress report on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Editors got their hooks into content manager Destin Bales and discussed the beta test and end-game content.

According to Bales, "In our beta test we just did our first tier four campaign testing. That's where we artificially level players to the highest level in the game, give them access to the highest content in the game, and said go fight through these zones. We also did a one-night test of an invasion of Altdorf, which is our Empire capital city. We let people go in, burn down the city, kill the king, capture rewards, sort of the culmination of the entire RvR game.

"Our next phase of beta is going to release the Greenskin and Dwarf tiers one through three content, and that will allow players to see stuff they haven't seen in almost a year. We've been focusing heavily on the Empire and Chaos and recently the Elves in beta, and so now we're going to give players a chance to see the Greenskin and Dwarves and see all the improvements and polish we've made to those areas."
