Our Lord of the Rings Online website has a guide to a special quest that went in for a certain Hobbit's birthday.

Hullo there, I was wondering if you might be able to spare a moment. My Uncle Bilbo and I share a birthday, September the twenty second, and I have celebrated it by holding a small gathering in his honour every year since he left. Even though the day has passed, I thought it would be nice to get the old rascal something for our birthday anyway.

One of the main items of contention between RP'ers and non-RP'ers is the argument over keeping low level items for RP purposes or discarding those items for more powerful ones. Jim gives his opinion this week with a look at the Bad Mojo mask.

Much of the time, simply the look of an item is enough to clearly see its RP potential, no matter if vital stats to the item are a match to your class or spec. These items have a value beyond their offensive or defensive powers, and depending on your RP style, may hold their worth long after your character has passed the level of the item in question.

Check out the rest on WoW WarCry.

Ironforge is the focus of this week's article in the RP City Tour series,

Ironforge is the cavernous home of the Dwarves and Gnomes of the Alliance, hidden deeply and safely within a rock shielding to rival our own real life Cheyenne Mountain Complex. Continuing the article series looking at potential quality RP places within the major cities of WoW, Ironforge is indeed on par with Stormwind, as I predicted in the last article. In fact, if you care to RP your Alliance character(s) as having a solid home to retire to after a hard days' adventuring, look no further than Ironforge.

A new feature added this week to our LOTRO WarCry Site is Fan Fiction Friday. This week we start off with the adventures of Roborn and he seems to have found himself in a bit of a bind:

The first thing Roborn noticed, other than the pounding headache, was that it was dark. The second thing he noticed was that he was lying face down in the dirt. He rolled over and sat up, slowly. It looked like he was in an improvised cell, in a bandit camp, somewhere in the Chetwood. He'd heard about bandits, but had never encountered them while hunting through the Chetwood, until yesterday. Looking around, he could see several people sprawled in the dirt. Nobody he knew, fortunately.

Read on to find out what becomes of Roborn!
