Lineage 2: Devastated Castle Successfully Sieged on Bartz

Time involved in their endeavor:

27 minutes. The first 5-8 minutes we used to break down the doors and kill the minions. The remaining time was used to lure Gustav out and to fight him off in front of the castle.

Who all was involved in the raid?

The Dawn alliance, which consists of these clans: KnightsEternal,
Shogunites, ArcaneGenesis, and Phenomenon.

What was the hardest part of the raid?

Breaching the three doors and eliminating the numerous undead gaurds was
relatively easy (especially when you have a level 75 Paladin ;D), fighting the undead king Gustav was difficult. He is very difficult to maintain aggro on and is physically resistant, in addition to having much HP. He has two minions, Mikhail and Deitrich that aggro seemingly in a random fashion.

What features does Devastated Castle provide?

The clan hall provides free teleportation in the Aden region up to Forest of Mirrors (after the clan leader activates it for a week, 11k adena), HP and MP regeneration. It does not offer the crafting services purchased clan halls do, but at the same time it does not require the 2 million adena/week rent costs that the other Aden halls require.

Who organized the raid?
GrandSavage (leader of KnightsEternal)
Saitou (leader of Shogunites)
Jadesureshot (leader of ArcaneGenesis)

How does defending the clan hall work?

It doesn't, and that is something that we are dissapointed with. Instead of providing the clan that owns it with a feature that actually allows us to defend it, it signs us up to attack again the following week, in essence pretending we never took it.

What advice would you give anyone who would like to siege it in the future?

Do not siege this castle looking for benefits... seige it as a fun activity for your alliance to do. It would also be something difficult to maintain week after week, we ourselves do not plan on holding it. We had a great time sieging it though, it was truly a blast.
