Dungeons And Dragons Online: Stormreach 2nd Anniversary Q&A
IGN is featuring an interview with DDO Senior Producer Kate Paiz. She reflects on Stormreach over the past two years. Here's a snippet:
Jonric: In overview, how would you describe Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach? What kind of massively multiplayer game is it, and in what parts of the world is it currently available?
Kate Paiz: Dungeons & Dragons Online is the MMO that seeks to bring the tabletop D&D experience to life in the vibrant, exciting world of Eberron. Our focus is to re-create the immersive and compelling storytelling from the pen and paper game via an action combat system and highly scripted adventures. Characters are highly customizable, and really allow the players to express who they want to be in the gameworld, be it as a rogue who specializes in sneak attacks and critical hits, a fighter optimized for damage dealing with two-weapon fighting, or a cleric who blocks and dodges attacks as he or she keeps the party healed.
Dungeons & Dragons Online is operated in over 30 countries around the world, and is translated into French, German, Japanese and Chinese.
