Nemesis Entertainment's President of Operations Justin J. Gaughan Goon World: Organized Crime Online are gunning for your attention. Announced a couple of years ago, developers have been pretty quiet but have news for you today.

The Goon World site has a new splash page in addition to an FAQ, beta, release information, gameplay and features lists.

What is Goon World: Organized Crime Online?

Goon World is a dark but vibrant, visually stylish MMORPG set on the brutal streets of Empire City, a town ravaged by the depression. In a world where broken men brawl for scraps, and the powerful families of organized crime cast their bloody shadow over everything, players have to claw their way up from the gutter using wit and muscle, cunning and carnage.

When is the game set?

The game is set in a fictionalized world, but based on America circa 1930. This means that prohibition is in place, and the depression has ravaged the country.

Will it feature famous mobsters like Al Capone?

No. All characters in Goon World are fictitious... And much more dangerous.
