Gamegal.com have posted an interesting and informative review of SWG, from the slant of view of the female player.

A recommended read, especially as I have never encountered so many ladies playing a single online game before! On many an occasion have I accused a pretty female of being male in real life, to only find they really are whom they say they are, and really do enjoy invading the usually male domain of gaming!

On one side, the sense of community and the ability to hold real conversations with other players, as well as the real-life dynamics of an economy and social structure, appealed greatly to our instincts.

But trust us, if you can handle the commitment to building a character and working with and against other players, then Star Wars Galaxies could easily start taking up a good deal of your free time.
