China's powerhouse MMORPG developer prepares for its second U.S. Release with an Exclusive Closed Beta

Santa Clara, CA-May 13, 2010 Today ChangYou.com (US) proudly announced the opening of Closed Beta for Blade Wars, an innovative new action/fighting free-to-play (F2P) MMORPG. The game's varied combat animations and fluid combination attacks have excited players worldwide. "You can create and personalize your own kung fu combos, making your character more versatile and able to handle any situation you may encounter," explains Blade Wars producer, Angie Canary. "This means that even within the same class, no two characters are likely to fight using the same tactics and skills."

Additional features of the game include an inventive mini game called Maestro, a music mini game that allows adventures to earn experience points for creating and performing custom musical numbers. "Our testers are having a ton of fun grouping up and playing in a band together." notes Canary. "There are a lot of fun surprises in Blade Wars."

Blade Wars closed beta begins today, Thursday May 13, 2010 at 4pm Pacific. Beta keys are available from a variety of partner sites that can be found on the Blade Wars official forums at BladeWarsMMO.com. This is the worldwide English release and will serve players from all corners of the globe.
