Star Wars Galaxies: October 3rd Update!

Q-3P0 dropped by the forums today to give us some insight on whats going on behind the scenes.

We're working hard on the bugs Test Center players are bringing to us. We hope to have the big publish ready for sometime next week. You can check out what has been added on the In Testing page. I played through The Warrens myself and it seems pretty good to me (except for a few bugs which are currently being worked on). Be sure to talk to NPCs and read terminals when you do it as they really help set the mood and pull you through the story. Among other things, I'm also very happy with the improved Friends List. You will be able to add comments next to friend's names and classify them into groups. Additionally, the names are colored when they are online making it much easier to see who's around at a glance.

The In Development page has been updated for what we are working on for the next monthly publish. You'll note that both Player Cities and Mounts are on the list. The code for both is almost done and ready to go into testing. The other day I rode around on a Kaadu, it was very cool. I think both of those features are going to make a lot of you happy.

We're also continuing to have the designers work directly with the correspondents on their forum and on Test Center. Again, your correspondents are there to represent your issues. Be sure to use the profession forums to work with your correspondent.
