Asherons Call: Helping Out Without Effort

What can AC players do to make a difference when they are not at their PC's?

Well, now they have the option of using their PC's in a constructive way outside of the game to help find a cure for cancer. An Asheron's Call Cancer and Smallpox team has formed and is recruiting with the goal of aiding in the development of new drugs that could potentially combat cancer and smallpox post infections.

United Devices has created a distributed client|server application similar to the SETI@home project which caries out computational research and analysis projects on a massive scale.

The application activates and hibernates based upon user / application demand so it wont slow down your computer or interfere with on-line gaming.
