Nudd, RuneLord of House Raidho, RuneGuards of Wintersebb posted the full details of his visit with Martine here. Nudd spotted Martine in Glendon Wood, Saturday, May 18th at about 9:00pm.
The bit of news that maybe new here is that Martine requested that we do something for him. He wanted the people of GW to find and kill Virindi Renegades that were near GW.A fellow killed one of those Renegades and Martine rewarded him with a Tiny Shard.
Bellinda Darkmoor of Solclaim recounts:
Martine was not agressive when I saw her in Holtburg on Solclaim. She appears as a light blue dot on the radar and does not wear a hood like the other virindi. She said she was mad at the Virindi for splitting from her and anyone who could prove their death would get a "gifty gift". One person gave her a Virindi mask, but it was not what she was looking for. She asked if he wanted it back and he said "Yes, please" and she said basically "Who are you to give me something and ask for it back?" If there was carnage when she was in Holt that time, I was not around to see it.
Mercadia Millithor (what a busy little bee!) had the following tale:
At about 2020 hours CST, Martine entered the Subway on Leafcull and was immediately attacked by a horde of triggerhappy players. Somewhere in the middle of the chaos he called for singularity keys, and Cody the Dagger's mule and I made our way though the death and destruction to give him the item he sought. After about another dozen or so players died, Martine left the subway. I received a page from the half-man, half-virindi to meet him in Al-Jamila, and I ran as fast as my little mage legs would carry me. Cody showed up too, again as his mule, and we had quite a lengthy conversation with Martine, touching on some topics such as the Caul and the Grand Inquisitors.
Martine, in his generosity, was also kind enough to demonstrate some of his spells. First on two guildmates who were watching from a distance, then on another newcomer who tried to follow him when he wished to be left in peace.
More tales of Martine to come....
