What better way to watch the world end than on a new gaming rig?
With the release of Cataclysm just over that next dune, Blizzard has announced not one but two new contests to get into the mindset of an Azeroth torn asunder. Both are fairly obvious advertising ploys, but when has anyone ever allowed that to get in the way of some good, clean contesting? There are some seriously amazing prizes to be had for the cunning and clever, so if you think you have what it takes, it behooves you to get involved.
Both contests involve participants creating some form of media announcing/warning the populous of the impending onslaught of death and destruction. How you go about doing that is up to you. You could do the noble thing and create a public service announcement to help keep your fellow adventurers informed and safe. Perhaps you'd rather capitalize on the chaos and create a commercial based on a product or service one might peddle to the desperate citizens seeking comfort or safety in an Azeroth rent asunder by the Cataclysm. The choice is yours.
Before you decide to embark on such an endeavor, you obviously want to know about the rewards available, yes? For the artwork contest, the grand prize includes an ASUS G53Jw gaming notebook, for starters. The video contest awards an equally awesome Acer Predator AG7750 gaming PC. If that isn't enough to inspire you to get to work, I don't know what will.
