Asherons Call: Martine attends Morningthaw wedding!

Martine came to the marriage of Romside and Archmage Lara on Morningthaw. He was invited, after all. He appeared just after Grand Sentinel Muroba declared the two married, and had a few objectives....
People all began to cheer wildly, while Romside asked them to be seated, as there was more to be said by the couple's friends. All of a sudden, people running Sixth Sense on Decal started shouting about Martine. I looked on the radar. Lo and behold, a blue dot. I turned around to face him, but backed off, so as not to be killed by a `stray' Ring of True Pain, just in case. Martine walked up the right aisle of the hall towards the front; some people buffed, others backed away, as I did.
Romside and Lara greeted and welcomed the `Sage.'
Martine says, "Are we here?"
...
Martine sobs.
Martine says, "Marriage is a farce."
Martine says, "A nonsensical union that bonds two souls irrevocably for life, until death do you part!"
Martine says, "Love is a front for reality."
...
Martine says, "I have gifts for the happy couple."
He gave Lara a wedding present: a Pyreal Sliver (I think, not sure). Romside and Lara thanked Martine both for the present and for coming. Anyway, he got a little unstable around then, as some of the more `l33t' players started to take potshots at him.
Martine says, "Fall'n Angel, I believe you were asked to remove your mask."
(Everyone was asked to remove all headgear, weapons and wands earlier.)
Fall'n Angel's death is proceeded by a sharp, stabbing pain, courtesy of Martine!
The smarter people sat down and did as they were told to right about now.... ;)
Martine says, "Such a happy couple... I was once part of a happy couple..."
Martine was really starting to sound out of the loop now. Some people simply would NOT shut up. Archmage Lara began to pray.
A soft hum begins to emanate from within Martine.
Martine says, "Marriage, a union that binds two souls. You see? No? Perhaps then I should make you understand."
Martine says, "Believe me, I am doing you both a great favor.
The force of Martine's assault flattens Archmage Lara!
Everyone was amazed. Martine slew the bride where she stood, even if temporarily. I think that almost everyone in there typed, "OMG," at once! Chaos ensued for another minute, and a good number of people began to attack Martine, in a rage.
I didn't attack, but I'm glad that I'm not a melee! Ring spells galore!

Of course, some innocent bystanders were killed by this....

After having slain so many, Martine decided to go home.
There is an uncomfortable silence that is sundered by the sound of a high pitched squeal, and sound of electricity coruscating over flesh.
Hopefully he has some personal recall spell that he uses to go home to the `Next Big Thing' island, but it's more likely that he's simply using the Admin teleportation powers granted to him. He was tracked to 91.1N, 86.8E. The wedding continued shortly afterwards.
That was extremely fun and unpredictable. It's rare to see so many `Big Names' from all over the server in one place, and was easily the most exciting experience in AC for months for me.
