Blizzard Unveils Sneak Peek At New Charity Pet

Looking for a way to justify your love for non-combat pets? Blizzard has an answer.

imageAs announced at BlizzCon 2010, Blizzard appears to be following through with its promise of more purchasable World of Warcraft companions from the Blizzard Store, and today gave us all a sneak-peek at one of the new eye-stabbingly adorable non-combat pets for all of us suckers out there - the Moonkin Hatchling. Even with so many people who love the damn things, though (I admit it - I'm one of them), it would be quite nice if there were some way we could possibly justify forking over even more of our hard-earned cash for vanity and cosmetics.

Blizzard has done just that for at least one of them. The Moonkin Hatchling has been announced to be part of a charity sale, similar to the previous Pandaren Monk pet, with sales helping to benefit a good cause. More details, including the availability date and specific plans for the charity partnership, will be announced in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned!

Now you can add another adorable pet to your list without feeling guilty. Just what you always wanted. Just look at those giant adorable eyes! How can you say no?
