Looks like TRI needs the pilots help once again.
Conflux forces launched an unusually vicious attack against Quantar Core station last night, launching several dozen 'Parasite' missiles at the station directly, despite the best efforts of the defending pilots. The conflux missiles appeared to target market stocks of TRI missiles, and break them down into their base elements.
Professor Vandagriff, TRIR-MSD, was at Quantar Core later in the evening, and issued this statement:
"We noticed some significant differences between this attack, and the one that took place at Amananth. The most obvious of which is the time delay between the missiles hitting the station, and damage to the markets being reported. At Amananth, the damage was almost immediate, yet at Quantar Core, the missiles took over an hour before doing any damage.
"We have a working theory that this discrepancy is caused by different shield harmonics used by Quantar and Amananth stations. If this is true, then it would be a simple matter of adjusting all station shield harmonics to compensate accordingly.
"Parasite scan data provided by LupinOne proved to be inconclusive, due to the inherent deficiencies in standard TRI scanners. We have modified a few standard TRI scanners using parts from the Quantar Core station scanners, and if there are any pilots willing to equip these scanners, and obtain data on the Parasite missiles, they should contact MSD as soon as possible. This data, combined with information learnt from dismantling the Guardian shield provided by Verelin, should be sufficient to prove or disprove our theory."
Interested pilots should contact Professor Vandagriff using regular communication channels.
