Matrix Online: Going Matrix for Halloween

Just wanted to alert any of you last-minute shoppers to some pretty sweet gear available at the mall chain Hot Topic[/A]. There is a glut of so-so quality Matrix costumes out there this year, but I was quite impressed with the quality of the jackets at Hot Topic. These images do not do them justice:

   

We're talking $64 for the Trinity jacket and $76 for the Neo version, both well worth it in my opinion. The Neo jacket I tried on in the store was like the one in the first film's bullet-dodging scene (not the one above), and it runs LONG. If that's a bit rich for your blood, I also spied the $20 versions in Target today, which come with sunglasses but feature fake buttons.

Another option, of course, is the official [a href="http://www.thematrixshop.com/catalog/category.xml?category_id=3939" target="_blank"]Matrix Shop which sells the entire line of sunglasses and costumes, but time is growing short for online orders.

How is it I have learned all this? Just idle curiosity. There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that I spend most of last night in the mall looking for a pleather tanktop...
