Jumpgate Evolution: US - Pilots Unite to Complete TRI Mission

Yesterday afternoon, 103.10.21, several pilots from various factions and squads dedicated themselves to bringing the long standing TRI mission from 82% to completion. Many of the known participants often hunt for artifacts, and were motivated by the belief that the completion of the mission would pave the way for production of the Night Watchman radar system. The Night Watchman boasts a maximum range of 54000, and when searching for artifacts every bit of range helps.

The TRI mission, which became available over a month ago, required pilots to patrol several sectors along the 'loop' from Octavius Outpost, Quantar Core, and Solrain Wake stations. Many pilots cited the amount of time required to complete a single mission as a deterrant to their participation. Other pilots, perhaps jaded by Hyperial's faction mission deceit in 103.04, were unwilling to assist in a mission without clear rewards. Each TRI mission brought the completion percentage up by 0.67%, and participating pilots ran a total of 27 lengthy patrols to finally put this mission to bed.
