Star Wars Galaxies: Banthas not mounts?

Community member [font color=lime]saber1[/font] asked on the official forums why Banthas didn't become player mounts. Ood_Bnar responded:

Banthas didn't make it because we ran out of time. We had an internal deadline to make the publish- and sadly, they got left behind. Banthas will definitely be in the game as mounts in the future. (as well as some you probably wouldn't expect).
