Final Fantasy: UGO Interviews Square Enix on opening day

Somehow on the day of US release for the much anticipated FINAL FANTASY XI online Square Enix found time to talk a little about the game with UGO. Alot of real good information can be found while you wait for you copy to arrive at stores. Notice how well the developers evade questions on which job/sub-job is best. Are there any specific support jobs which are the best for particular main jobs?

There is no "best job" or "best combination". The best combination varies depending on the goals at hand, the way you fight, etc.

The best advice we can give you is to ask you to think carefully about the specialties of each job and the characteristics of your race and make your decision from there.
