Jumpgate Evolution: Prefect Claims Sabotage At Great Pillars

Earlier this afternoon, a corrosive gas was released into the Octavian ship research laboratories at Great Pillars station. Initial reports from the station indicate that the laboratories were completely destroyed by the incident, although there has been no word of casualties. Great Pillars was the home of the recently announced Octavian Military Improvement project

Prefect Galenus was quick to respond.

"This act is clearly the work of the Lions of Hamalzah, who have time and time again attempted to thwart Octavian plans along with their misguided Quantar masters. Yet, they shall never succeed. The Octavian Military Improvement project has been relocated to Octavius Core, and will continue as planned. The Empire shall not be denied its true place in the galaxy by these terrorists."

There has been no official comment from Quantar at this time.
