I propose that once the Qua it Tahir announces they will retrofit our Medium and Light fighter class ships, we re-name one of them in honor of Malum Ionus, who stood by Quantar in her many times of need.

P.S. I think we should rename the Cyclone to the Ionus. Yeah yeah, it doesn't fit the naming scheme, but who cares? I think that culturally, naming a ship after one of the fallen leaders is carries with it a much deeper significance than following a naming schemea...

Oh, and even one final thought. I had considered changing the name of the Tempest to the Ionus because I had always liked the name Cyclone but now I realize that I was biased because I liked the ship more AND that it would better honor Brother Io if the better ship took his name rather than the "not-as-good" ship. Of course, I have no idea which ship will be better after the retrofit but c'mon, the Cyclone has just always LOOKED cooler than that frisbee of a Tempest...
