Star Wars Galaxies: First Galactic Museum

Today we recieved an e-mail from Swamp Fox, regarding his and [font color=lime]Nocturne[/font]'s Galactic Museum to open soon on Ahazi.

I'm emailing you on a potential article or location that you may want to
cover on your webpage.

I play in the Ahazi galaxy and we, myself and Nocturne are very close to
opening the first galactic museum. We have a museum complex set-up on
at the center of the Naboo map that consists of 4 display buildings (1
PA hall, 2 Large Naboo houses and 1 Medium Naboo house) a museum gift
shop and a storage shed (2 small Naboo houses). We are beginning to
plant houses that will hopefully turn into one of the player cities and
will be built around the museum complex.

The museum itself houses 750+ items so far and the list is constantly
growing. We have one of each food, spice, armour suit, weapon, head
wear, jewelry, droid, fish and BE created creature. We have over 100
quest and faction related items such as Special clothing, a picture,
Dragon skull, special food, disks and even an Ewok spleen in a bottle
:). We have all disks and items from the first 2 story acts as well as
a great deal of miscellaneous items that have come from every corner of
the galaxy.

I attempted to contact the Devs on several occasions to see if they
could assist with any of the high dollar items or if they would display
any static objects but never received a response. We don't have any
Holocrons or Storm Trooper armour but I am working on that and hope to
have at least some ST pieces prior to the opening.

All items have been donated or purchased through the money made from our
mining operation. We stay broke as you can imagine with the 300k plus
monthly maintenance fee on the buildings but we are still managing to
add items almost daily. Our initial impulse is to make the museum free
of charge but many people continue to tell us that we should charge a
small fee to help with the building maint fees and for acquiring new
items. We are still undecided on this.

We are scheduling our Grand Opening for Next Saturday the 22nd and the
Grand Opening party will consist of a band, free food and over 200 full
fireworks packages :).
