Flex your claws, it's time to sneak around the battlefield as Infinite Crisis' new Champion, Gaslight Catwoman.
Infinite Crisis, the new MOBA from Turbine keeps expanding with fresh characters almost every week. Last week, Gaslight Batman and Doomsday were revealed, and this week, the sneaky character, Gaslight Catwoman, the Claws of Vengeance, has been announced. Turbine also recently let loose on some information about Infinite Crisis' Open Beta.
The new character, Gaslight Catwoman, is a melee assassin with stealth abilities. She is a stalker, after all. Her passive skill, Sharpened Claws, cause her attacks to deal bleed damage, making enemies lose health over time. The lower health enemies have, the harder Catwoman's attacks hit for.
Developed by Turbine, Infinite Crisis sees the worlds of DC's Multiverse come crashing together, pitting twisted incarnations of some of your favorite heroes and villains, like Batman, Green Lantern, Catwoman and The Flash, against each other in head-to-head multiplayer combat. With characters like Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Catwoman, it's DC Comics superheroes like you've never seen them before!
Gaslight Catwoman's first ability, Steampowered Claws, allows the Champion to launch three claws at enemies which deal damage in a small cone in front of her. The success of Catwoman will most likely revolve around players using her second skill, Stalking Strike, which gives her the ability to stealth around and once she chooses her victim, her first strike silences them. Stealth definitely seems to be a core mechanic of Gaslight Catwoman, and this ability is sure to cause some great moments and serious player rage for those who don't expect it.
Her third move, Blood Hunt, allows Catwoman to see targets with low health all around the map and gives her bonus speed in order to catch up and take them out. Think Bloodseeker's Bloodlust ability from Dota 2.
Catwoman's ultimate ability, Predator's Grace, is quite unique. As a game plays out, Catwoman will gain charges over time or whenever she kills someone. Using her ultimate uses up a charge, but allows her to teleport to enemies and deal additional damage to them.
Check out all of Gaslight Catwoman's moves and some tips on how to play her in the video below.
If you want to try out Gaslight Catwoman or any of the other revealed Champions in Infinite Crisis, you won't have to wait much longer. The game will go in to Open Beta on May 8, so be sure to sign up at the official Infinite Crisis website if you're looking for a way to play.
