Even though Ragnarok Online sequel is called the Legend of the Second, it made its way to first...
Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second is the sequel to the 2002 Korean MMORPG created by Gravity Interactive, Limited. Launched on May 1st, 2013, this Free to Play MMO has achieved the highest rank on Steam's MMO charts with the 11th highest concurrent userbase at over 8000 users. To play the game, users register for Warportal, a service that will allow one account to interact with dozens of other games like Rose Online, Requiem: Memento Mori, Dragon Saga, and more.
Ragnarok Online 2 is unique in its use of Gravity's "Dual-Life" system. Here, players live two lives; offline as an NPC and online as a PC. When players are out-of-game, their characters essentially become shop keepers, offering services and goods in exchange for currency.
Gravity Interactive moved this game to the Gamebryo Engine, a Korea owned videogame engine assembled using C++ and meant to be used on a variety of different platforms. However, it remains to be seen if this game will make that jump.
