Save money on your annual trip to Minsk by winning Wargaming's 15-year anniversary World of Tanks tourney.
World of Tanks publisher Wargaming announced today that in honor of the company's fifteenth-year anniversary, they will be hosting a huge cross-country tournament. Winners in each region (Europe, North America, Russia, South Korea, Southeast Asia, China, and Vietnam) will win an all-expenses paid trip to hang out with the dev team their Minsk, Belarus headquarters.
The tournament kicks off in May and will follow a traditional 7 vs. 7 format. Wargaming is aiming to have the final games of the tourney scheduled in June. "This is a great opportunity for teams around the globe to show their peers and prove they have what it takes to really be the best at World of Tanks," Alexey Kuznetsov, eSports Lead at Wargaming said in a statment. "We're extremely excited to welcome the winning teams to Belarus and give them a closer look at how their favorite game is made."
Second and third place teams will still walk away with some stellar in-game prizes, so even if you're not the best, it still might be worth a shot!
